We tried hiking the Superior Hiking Trail up Split Rock River, but without any snow and the weird weather lately, the trail was beyond treacherous with ice, always sloping to the river cliffs. I didn't want to kill one or both of us on our first cool hike together. We hiked the Lake Superior X-C ski trail instead. |
