Iraq - Checkpoint Patrol Damage
This is actually known as ORM -
Operational Risk Management
This driver tried to blow a secure Iraqi
check point, and made a very poor decision. These photos
are not for the weak stomach or heart. Very up close and
the trauma is to the head. The check point is in the city
of Tikrit, Iraq. One of the rounds split his head completely
open. These are all rounds from 5.56mm NATO ammunition.

glimpse into a "day in the life" of soldiers in
a true combat zone. It ain't pretty. Never has been, never
